Vitamins that help you fight the infection and combat the effects of andropause…

I started training yesterday after taking a break over the holidays, one thin that often happen to me is that it knocks my immune system until I’ve caught up my fitness levels again which in my case often turns into a lung infection, so in order to prevent that I do the following. See below it is a really good routine and have numerous benefits to your health.

With any infection, it’s important to boost your body’s own immune defences. Vitamin C increases the bacteria-destroying activity of your white blood cells and improves the integrity of your connective tissue, which helps prevent the infection from spreading.

It also supports your adrenal glands, which continue to produce small amounts of testosterone after andropause. Take 1,000mg of vitamin C every four hours for three days. Then reduce the dose to 1,000mg twice a day for one month. However, do not take more than 5,000mg in 24 hours as it can cause diarrhoea.

Zinc is another nutrient that supports immune function and high levels have been found to be toxic to the organism Trichomonas, even when antibiotics have failed. Take 22mg of zinc picolinate twice a day for one month.

Vitamin E has been found to increase resistance to organisms that cause infections. In addition, it helps balance hormone levels. Take 400iu a day of the d-alpha tocopherol form.

Other supplements that can help with andropuase are the B vitamins, which either have oestrogen-like effects or increase the action of your body’s own testosterone supplies. Take a vitamin B complex supplement each day.

Cut out the carbs, drink loads of water, and supplement with Acidophilus. Vitamins C, E and the B vitamins are a good idea, as is zinc.

How would you like to add years to your natural life?

Calling all men over forty out there! Do you still feel invincible ?

I don’t know about you but since I’ve turned forty I’m starting to doubt the “invincible” bit and I’ve realized that now that half of my life is up, I would like to make the best of the second half.

Now I know that there is only so much that is in my own hands but it does not allow me to throw in the towel and give in to all my bad habits.

I asked myself how I would like to live out the next half of my life and you know I have a lot of things I would still like to do e.g. travel to far away beaches, enjoy romantic dinners with my wife, play on the lawn with the kids and eventually the grand children.

Then I asked myself how can I achieve this in a world where my very lifestyle is busy sending me to an early grave. I have high cholestrol, I’m obese, I’m unfit, stressed, etc.

All the ingredients for disaster.

But…

I also discovered that there is a lot I can do about it. I now eat a scrumptious healthy diet (I can taste my food!), I train 3 to 4 times a week at a Thai Boxing gym and I’m destressing myself.

In short I’m feeling great and I’m starting to look great and that’s my story and my reason for this blog, so that you can take the short cut to what took me months of research, today!

Make these changes and you will add happy years to your life, the rest is in Gods hands.

Kind regards

Tonie
